Christina and Tarek El Moussa's show may be over like their marriage, RadarOnline.com has learned!
The Flip or Flop couple announced their split on Dec. 12 after trying therapy for months.
"Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage," they revealed in a statement. "We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed."
RadarOnline.com reported that Tarek, 35, was allegedly suicidal with a gun. Christina, 33, accompanied him to counseling to "sort out" their issues, but they couldn't come to a resolution that would benefit them and their children, Taylor, 6, and Brayden, 1.
"During the process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be," their statement continued. "We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together."
Now, their hit show may be in danger of being canned!
"We admire and appreciate Tarek and Christina's great work on Flip or Flop," HGTV told RadarOnline.com in a statement. "When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children. HGTV is currently airing episodes of Flip or Flop and the series will continue production as scheduled."
