New details are emerging about Sherri Papini, who was kidnapped in a North California small town while jogging at the beginning of November.

Even though Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko originally claimed the mother-of-two was bound with restraints when officials discovered her on the side of County Road 17, The Sacramento Bee has just released the dispatcher's alarming audio of what she really looked like after being let go.

"CHP is on scene and advised that she is chained to something," the radio dispatcher said a police officer on Nov. 24. "CHP advising that she is heavily battered."

The 34-year-old mom is still being treated at a hospital just outside of Shasta County, but isn't suffering from life-threatening injuries. Police continue to hunt for two women who they are believe are armed.

"Right now she has been through a very traumatic event and needs time with her family," Papini's sister Sheila Koester told reports on Friday. She's been able to reunite with her husband at the hospital, but it's still unclear if she's seen her two very young children due to her condition.

As RadarOnline.com reported, Papini was reported missing for 22 days before she was found on Thanksgiving day this year.

"Everybody who knows my wife knows that there's no reason for her to leave… She was definitely taken against her will," her husband Keith Papini told ABC News earlier this month.

"Knowing that she didn't pick up our kids — there is no way that ever happens," he said. "She could drop her phone but she would never in a million years not pick up our children on a time that she normally would have."
