Raven-Symone is leaving The View! The actress revealed on Thursday's episode that she is ending her less than two-year run on the daytime talk show.
"I'm excited and sad, but mostly excited," Symone, 30, told the audience.
Although Symone has been involved in on-set drama, she admitted her reason to leave the show is to focus on a spinoff of her Disney Channel show, That's So Raven.
"It's Raven Baxter," she explained. "It's still me. But I am a mother this time. I'm going to be a single mother raising two kids, and one of them learns that she has visions."
The actress's departure doesn't come as a shock to viewers, as she has only been appearing on the show once a week.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, producers weren't sold on Symone being a permanent co-host when she joined the panel in 2015.
"Raven needs a lot of work," a source told RadarOnline.com at the time. "Producers are having to prep her and do her homework for her. They're trying to coach her and it's not working."

Producers may have had reason to worry, as she came under fire during her run when she admitted that she would discriminate against a job applicant with a "ghetto name."
Fans weren't the only ones to slam the star, as her own father said she "says some dumb s**t."
Symone was even slammed by Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes for calling the panel hosts "rude" and "mean girls."
