Chip and Joanna Gaines are gearing up for season 5 of Fixer Upper — and need couples who can afford their hefty costs!
RadarOnline.com has learned that hopeful participants are required to have a budget of at least $30,000 to appear on the HGTV hit! There is no limit to how much they can spend to have their home look like Joanna's Magnolia store — but producers give the option to go up to at least $300,000.
The official casting call also requires applicants to be over 21 years old and live within 40 miles of Waco.
Chip, 41, and Joanna, 38, have lived in the Texas city for years — and even got arrested for unpaid animal control tickets by the city.
The Gainses admitted that they were broke before the HGTV show, and detailed their struggle to renovate their first homes on a budget in their memoir. But now that the couple has found fame, their renovations need a fortune!
