Holly Madison welcomed her first son, forest Leonardo Antonio Rotella on August 7 — and is now revealing that he almost didn't make it out of the hospital!
Madison, 36, told People that he was rushed to the NICU to be put on "a million machines," explaining that doctors and nurses "took him away to get the fluid out of his lungs."
"First it was the fluid, then it was jaundice, then his eyes weren't dialing," she said. "I spent hours thinking my baby couldn't see."
Forest was soon given a clean bill of health — and started causing trouble at home for Madison and husband Pasquale Rotella, 42.
"Diaper changes are way harder with a boy," Madison joked of the differences between Forest and daughter Rainbow Aurora, 3. "I'm getting hosed down on a regular basis!"
