Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are not taking any chances when it comes to protecting their massive fortune! Just days after Taylor Swift reportedly threatened the Keeping up with the Kardashians star and rapper with a nasty lawsuit and criminal charges for recording her without her knowledge, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that "Kim and Kanye have retained lawyers!"
"They both know that this whole situation could get super messy and they know that they needed a dream team," a Kardashian family insider said. "Just in case this actually goes to court."
"Kim is freaking out right now" over claims Swift could feasibly press charges or bring a suit, the insider said.
"Kim worries Taylor could also go after anyone who was involved in the process or producing and recording that call."
As RadarOnline.com reported, Kardashian and the Yeezy rapper have been at war with Swift, 26, for quite some time now. But although they continue to show a united front while out in public, tensions at home for the parents of North, 2, and seven-month-old son, Saint, are worse than ever before!

"Kanye is so p***ed off at Kim for this whole mess, but she told him that the only reason she released the video was to clear his name," added the insider.
"Up to this point it was Kris who was dealing with Taylor's lawyers directly, because Kim thought that anyone could get her out of a sticky situation, it would be her," the source said.
