Caitlyn Jenner was once a vocal Ted Cruz supporter, but now she's putting her support behind the man who trounced him in the primaries, Donald Trump.

The I Am Cait star said in a new interview with Stat , "Trump seems to be very much for women."

Jenner explained she remains on the "conservative Republican side" because she's "not excited with what Obama has done to the economy, to our Constitution, all that kind of stuff."

As RadarOnline.com reported, Jenner has been a bit of a political activist since her transition, voicing support for Cruz and now Trump.

Jenner told Stat she was swayed by Trump's announcement in April that he would allow Jenner — and other trans Americans — to use any bathroom they liked, implying an opposition to the North Carolina law forcing transgender people to use bathrooms that match the gender on their birth certificates.

Jenner then took Trump up on his offer at Trump Tower in NYC, and insisted in the Stat interview that it was proof he "backed the LGBT community."
