New mom, new financial scandal! Sari Lopez, whose daughter Areana Lopez is on Abby Lee Miller's mini team, filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in September 2005, court papers obtained by RadarOnline.com reveal.
According to the filing, Lopez owed a total of $231,109.15 to creditors.
Her debt included $32,426.94 in loans, 11,199.75 in credit card payments, 2,800 for a 2000 Plymouth Neon, $142,500 for a 2003 Real Estate Foreclosure, $14,665 from a 2003 Repossession and more.
The Dance Moms star had $1,968 in total monthly expenses despite having a monthly income of only $811.48.
The case was discharged in December 2005.
Filing for bankruptcy seems to be a pattern for the stars of Dance Moms.
Ashlee Allen owed a total of $1,405,903.80 to creditors when she filed in 2008, while Melissa Ziegler-Gisoni was $1,214,284.15 in debt when she filed in 2009.
As for Miller, she has been charged with concealment of bankruptcy asses, false bankruptcy declarations and bankruptcy fraud. She could face up to five years in prison and $5 million in fines if convicted.
