She's Out! Kim Zolciak Quitting 'DWTS' After Scary Mini-Stroke – Health Crisis Ends Reality Show Run
Sept. 25 2015, Updated 4:22 p.m. ET
Kim Zolciak is telling friends she is quitting Dancing With the Stars after her frightening health scare RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
The 37-year-old reality star is partnered with Tony Dovolani and the two had the lowest scores both weeks in the ABC show.
Zolciak, who lives in Atlanta, was rushed to the hospital this week for a "mini-stroke," and a source told RadarOnline.com that she decided to pull out of the Mirror Ball competition shortly thereafter.
Although Zolciak has told fans things were looking up and her partner was in her hospital room, an insider told RadarOnline.com that the call was made Friday to end her stint on the show and barring a "miraculous recovery" she will not be competing any longer. According to the source, an announcement could come shortly.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star suffered a TIA (short for Transient Ischemic Attack) this week at her Atlanta home. She said the medical crisis temporarily left her left side "completely numb" and her speech "gone."
A rep for Zolciak did not immediately respond to RadarOnline.com's request for comment.
