Jenelle Evans has suffered another devastating setback in her ongoing fight to regain custody of her son Jace, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The troubled Teen Mom 2 star was forced to give up custody to her mother, Barbara Evans, when her first son was born, but she has been working hard lately to regain full parental rights, until the last court hearing.

"Jenelle's hearing was continued until November," a source close to the situation told Radar.

The MTV star has been struggling to wrest control away from her mother, "Babs," and Jenelle is often shown on her reality show talking about how happy Jace is when he is with her and how angry she is that her mother asks him to call her "Mom."

"These cases take time," the source said. "It isn't an easy thing to get custody back and Jenelle has an uphill battle."

Jenelle, 23, is single again, after ending her engagement with fiancé Nathan Griffith, the baby daddy of her second son, Kaiser, 14 months.
