Military hero Noah Galloway proposed to girlfriend Jamie Boyd in an emotional segment on Dancing with the Stars Monday.
Galloway, a 33-year-old double-amputee and veteran, popped the question following his Viennese Waltz with dance partner Sharna Burgess to the David Cook song, "Time of My Life."
During a backstage segment with host Erin Andrews, Boyd, an Army Reserve specialist, told Galloway, "You're amazing ... you're a beautiful dancer and you have a beautiful heart.

"I can't even tell you how proud I am of you!"
The Iraq War hero responded, "The song, the 'Time of My Life,' you've given it to me ... I've got to do this here," before popping the question.
She responded, "Heck yes!"

Galloway gave Boyd a two-carat, princess-cut diamond, set to an 18-karat white gold band, from Beverly Hills' XIV Karats, People reported.
Galloway later told the magazine that his now-fiancee "has been so supportive throughout my entire journey," and that he knew early on he wanted to propose to her on the program.
"I always thought if I made it to the finale I would propose, but I realized the competition is so stiff I couldn't let the opportunity pass me by in case this is the end of the road for me on the show," he said.
Dancing with the Stars airs on ABC Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c.
