Bachelor Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff are baring their souls after their breakup.

"I can't thank you all enough for the kind messages over the past few days," Soules, 33, tweeted followers today. "This has been really tough and your support means a lot to me."

Bischoff had taken to social media with her own message not long before her ex sent out his thanks.

"From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your outpouring love, kindness and support!" Bischoff, 29, wrote on Instagram. "It means so much to me!"

As RadarOnline.com reported, an insider revealed the couple's relationship turned frosty after Bischoff began to suspect that Soules "just isn't the person she thought he was."

The Iowa farmer had "gone Hollywood, and was becoming very arrogant," the insider told Radar. "And it got worse after appearing on Dancing With The Stars. Whitney didn't like the change in Chris, and he just didn't care. His ego was out of control, and Chris was also incredibly cheap."

"Chris refused to buy Whitney a plane ticket to see him in Iowa, forcing her to drive from Chicago!" the insider claimed. "Whitney felt she had to go to Iowa several weeks ago in an attempt to save the relationship. After arriving, it became obvious that Chris didn't care about the relationship."
