It looks like there will be no more dinner dates between Real Housewives of Orange County alum Lydia McLaughlin and current star Heather Dubrow.

Publishing insiders exclusively tell RadarOnline.com that the Christian author, 34, asked Dubrow, 46, if she could include an innocent story about filming a scene together for her upcoming memoir/advice book— but her onetime costar promptly shut her down.

"Heather told Lydia she did not want to be mentioned in her book at all," the source tells Radar.

McLaughlin was simply planning to mention filming with Dubrow because it was her very first time in front of the Bravo cameras, the insider explains.

"She wasn't going to speak badly about her in any way."

Indeed, going against Housewives literary style, McLaughlin only has sweet things to say about her former castmates in Beyond Orange County: A Housewives Guide To Faith & Happiness (out April 14). She even reveals she kissed and made up with former frenemies Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley.

Though she speaks often of pals Rossi and Alexis Bellino and recounts reunion drama with Vicki Gunvalson, Dubrow's name is entirely absent from the read.

"I am thankful for the friendships with Alexis, Jim Bellino, Gretchen, and Slade that continue to grow," she writes in the acknowledgements.

While after season 8, claiming she no longer felt like she was on air for the right reasons, Dubrow remains on the series. However, the Hot In Cleveland actress recently implied she is contemplating a walk away from the series.
