'Breaking Amish' Star Reveals Parents' Shock At Her Premarital Sex & Pregnancy

Premarital sex is against her religion but Breaking Amish star Lizzie not only had sex before marriage, she did it with a non-Amish African American man, got pregnant and had his baby!
Now in an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, she revealed her parents' shocking reaction and the struggles she's faced within her community.
"I was never taught sex ed," she said about her conservative Amish upbringing.
"We don't talk openly about sex. We're only told don't do it and that doing it is so wrong in the Amish world."
Despite that admonition, Lizzie gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Kaden and describes how her parents reacted to the fact that his father is African American.
"I think that fact that he is black was not nearly as hard for them as the fact that he wasn't Amish," Lizzie admitted to Radar.
"Every Amish parent's dream is for their child to grow up and marry an Amish person and live an Amish life. That obviously wasn't what I wanted at the moment."
Another huge struggle for Lizzie was her brother's anger at her pregnancy, and subsequently finding out that he too was having per-marital sex.
"I was very hurt by him, I didn't like the way that he treated me when he found out. He was so awful to me. Then I realized when he came to Los Angeles his main mission was to lose his virginity. That was so hurtful because of the things he said to me about my situation."
On the season finale of the show Lizzie will reveal whether she will stay in the Amish community or live in the "English" world, but she says both her parents and the father of her child are pleased with her decision.
"My parents are very happy how it turned out because they know that I'm happy with what I've chosen and that makes them happy.
"Hodge is always going to be a part of Kaden's life, no matter what happens. I will never keep him from his child and he will definitely be with his son."
The season finale of Breaking Amish airs Sunday, September 29 at 10/9c on TLC.
