Being the brains behinds Mariah Carey, Avril Lavigne, Paula Abdul, Pink, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Kanye West and Usher appears to have paid off — a lot.

Record executive and former The X Factor judge L.A. Reid has just plonked his sprawling 7,000 square feet, 8 bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms estate in Sagaponack, a village in the Town of Southampton in Suffolk County, N.Y., on the market for $18.99 million, has confirmed.

And you've got to see it to believe it — take a peek inside the house music built!

According to the listing, via Sotheby's, the estate is a "one-of-a-kind elegant property" on over three manicured acres.

"A long drive through fields leads to this tucked away exquisite surprise," the agent wrote on the realtor's website.

"Private and gated with southern and western open reserve views. Meticulous and thoughtfully designed, with the finest finishes and materials used throughout, this home offers generous two-level master suite, seven additional guest bedrooms including five en suite, open gourmet eat-in kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, formal living room, formal dining and den with fireplace."

It also boasts a gym, wine cellar, heated salt water pool, tennis court, lush landscaping including pond and spacious porches and decks for entertaining.

And proving he has the deft touch, Reid paid just $10 million for the property in February, 2006, meaning this sale — if it's snapped up — will land him a very healthy profit!
