Delivery Room Drama: Kim Kardashian Cried Tears Of Pain & Joy As Baby Girl Arrived Weeks Early And Under Five Pounds

There was no doubt the drama was real as Kim Kardashian rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center this weekend to give birth weeks early – and RadarOnline has the details.

As we were first to report, Kanye West, 36, skipped his own listening party Friday night at MILK in LA to be by Kim’s side for the birth of their daughter early Saturday morning.

And like typical new parents, no one was really prepared!

Part of that can be blamed on the baby’s weeks-early arrival, though, as Kim, not feeling well realized she needed to get to the hospital after letting everyone around her know what was going on.

And while the family kept the situation more secret than a classified military operation, there still was drama, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Kim cried tears of joy and pain before her daughter arrived, RadarOnline.com has learned, and although she weighs approximately five pounds or less, the infant is happy and healthy! One report said the baby was placed in an incubator as a precaution.

“We're all fine. We're all good. Extremely happy and thrilled for the new baby. She's doing great and she's beautiful,," Kim’s mom Kris told Headline News on Sunday as Kris attended the Daytime Emmy Awards in Beverly Hills.

As Kim went into labor the family was quiet, except for Kourtney who tried to throw off everyone by tweeting she was on a Saturday morning nature hike. But, as RadarOnline.com pointed out, her accompanying Instagram photo showed only foliage and no people, so nice try Kourtney!

Meanwhile, Kim’s baby had come into the world slightly under five pounds with the normal amount of delivery room drama – especially for first-time parents.

Kanye was by her side and although many were nervous and wanted assurance the baby was fine, all went fairly smoothly despite the early birth.

In fact Kim was in such good shape that by the next day Jonathan Cheban and Brittny Gastineau were at Cedars to visit Kim.

And Khloe tweeted: “I can not even begin 2describe the miracle that is now apart of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy &resting. We appreciate all of the love.”

The baby’s name has not been revealed although sources and reports claim it will begin with a K. It is the first baby for both Kim and Kanye.

The new parents will need to enjoy their time together with their daughter because Kanye’s album is officially released June 18 and he will be traveling to support it.
