Photo Shows Kate Gosselin Mocking Asians, Sparks New Controversy & Demands For Explanation

Controversy has exploded surrounding a photograph of Kate Gosselin appearing to make fun of Asians, her fingers pulling back the skin around her eyes, as you can see here on RadarOnline.

The photograph has not yet been verified as genuine but has landed Kate in the middle of a new scandal that is growing.

“Some people think they know who posted it but no one has claimed credit for doing it yet,” an insider told RadarOnline.com.

“This needs to go viral Kate Gosselin mocking Asians,” one regular Kate watcher posted on Twitter.

The photograph appears to have first surfaced on Twitter on Sunday, through an account that looks recently created and has sent out only one tweet – the Kate photo.

A photograph of Kate in this pose was referenced in Robert Hoffman’s e-book, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World.

Hoffman wrote: "I’ll bet that Kate wishes that she hadn’t been photographed making a ‘slant-eye’ pose with a big smile on her face though. Kate Gosselin has eight part-Asian children. Her ex-husband Jon is half Korean. Is it ok for Kate to do something like that?

“Ask Miley Cyrus. She did the same thing in February of 2009 and it didn’t go over to well with the public."

Hoffman wrote an e-book filled with information from Kate’s computer. He claimed the information was in her trash and that’s where he retrieved it from. But others believe Jon helped him get the information.

And one tipster pointed out to RadarOnline.com that the photo appears to have been taken in the garage. Several scenes from Jon & Kate Plus 8, showing Jon fixing up the garage, reveal what appears to be a match in terms of the background of the photo to the garage.

The controversy comes as Kate is preparing to sue her ex husband Jon Gosselin and Hoffman in federal court. She believes they plotted to profit by planting negative information about her in public, as RadarOnline.com was first to report.

A blog that was a well known hangout for the anti-Kate camp recently shut down after receiving a subpoena for the case. Reality Without Apologies ended its existence after it became entangled in the Kate legal situation.
