Talk about being late for the party!

Kim Kardashian's boyfriend, and soon-to-be-baby's daddy, Kanye West, showed up at the E! star's baby shower as guests were leaving the swanky soiree, and tried to avoid cameras that were rolling to capture the day for her reality show, is exclusively reporting.

Despite a guest list that included Kim's celebrity pals such as Kimberly Stewart, NeNe Leakes and Maria Menounos; sister Khloe and her L.A. Clipper hubby, Lamar Odom; and brother Rob, Kanye showed up to the baby shower later than, and left earlier than, everyone else.

"Kanye arrived as many of the guests were leaving," a source told exclusively. "You could tell Kim was wondering where he was. The singer didn't look happy to be there and dodged cameras that were shooting for Kim's reality show.

"Whereas Kim was extremely gracious to all of her guests, and made it a point to spend time talking to them, Kanye looked like he had been sucking on lemons. Several of Kim's friends felt sorry for her because Kanye just couldn't put a genuine smile on his face."

As we previously reported, the event -- which will be broadcast later this summer on Keeping Up with the Kardashians -- took place at the same rented Beverly Hills estate where Khloe and Lamar exchanged vows in 2009.

Kim’s pals were all in attendance, as was workout queen Tracy Anderson, whose job it is to get Kim back into shape after she gives birth.

Momager Kris Jenner planned the event, which according to daughter Kylie Jenner, was part “dance party!”
