Cops and US Marshals hauled a woman off a plane at LAX airport on Tuesday morning after she suggested on Twitter that she was going to injure Kim Kardashian's BFF Jonathan Cheban, eyewitnesses tell RadarOnline.com.

The woman -- who identifies herself online as a student -- tweeted at the E! reality star: "Jonathan Cheban is on my flight, should I cut him with my weapon?"

The former public relations guru responded, "Police?"

That's when the drama began: When the Virgin flight landed in Los Angeles just before midday, Cheban was escorted off the flight by police and the woman was detained, according to one passenger.

In two other Tweets, the woman wrote:

It appears that before Sari was detained for questioning, she tried to fix the mess that she created, writing back to Cheban: "It was a bad joke...you look really hoot sic babe."

Ex-TODAY show coanchor Meredith Vieira was also on the flight, we're told.

Earlier, Cheban had posted on the social media site that he was going to Los Angeles to visit Kardashian, 32, who is expected to give birth to her first child soon.
