The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson had tears in her eyes when she walked her daughter, Briana, down the aisle on May 12, with the stunning Santa Barbara sunset behind them. But it once seemed that the two would never get the chance to share such a special moment.

This season, viewers of the hit Bravo reality show watched Vicki reel from Briana's announcement that she had eloped with her Marine boyfriend, Ryan Culberson, 27, tying the knot at a drive-thru wedding chapel in Las Vegas last October.

"My anger and my disappointment at what Briana did almost destroyed our relationship," Vicki reveals exclusively to Star. "We didn't speak for two months. But time heals, and our relationship is stronger than ever."

Briana is thrilled that she and her mom orchestrated the 25-year-old's wedding, take two, with the help of event planner Alex Alexander. "My mom has been amazing. It's been really fun planning the wedding with her and just having her by my side," she told Star, just before the rustic-themed nuptials took place at Santa Barbara's posh Bacara Resort & Spa.

As Ingrid Michaelson’s rendition of "Can't Help Falling in Love" played, Briana joined Ryan at the altar in a gown by Erin Cole Couture Bridal. "The lace came all the way from Italy," says Briana, who carried a bouquet of roses by Natural Charms florists of Orange County.

None of Vicki's RHOC costars made the tight guest list because "it had to be about Briana and Ryan. It is not my party," Vicki explains. And Briana gushes that they couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. "The wedding was very intimate and very personal and different," she says. "We are so excited because it turned out just the way we wanted it!"
