It’s Over! DWTS’ Karina Smirnoff & Brad Penny Call It Quits

Reigning Dancing with the Stars champion Karina Smirnoff and baseball journeyman Brad Penny have called off their engagement.
"They are just two different people," a source told E! -- who first broke the story -- about why the couple, who became engaged 14 months ago, did not make it to the altar.
While the Russian beauty was seen wearing the engagement diamond ring that Penny gave her during an appearance in Las Vegas over the weekend, she only wore the ring for the cameras, the source also said.

The hard-bodied pro dancer and doughy Detroit Tigers pitcher, both 33, were introduced to one another by a former DWTS contestant, UFC tough man Chuck Liddell.
Smirnoff had previously been romantically tied to DWTS bad boy Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Extra host Mario Lopez.
