Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy and head judge Len Goodman have mended fences -- with a kiss -- after an uncomfortable exchange two weeks ago.
On the show's October 24 broadcast, Chmerkovskiy, 31, told the 67-year-old judge, “Maybe it's time to get out" of the ballroom business after a harsh critique of his partner, soccer stunner Hope Solo. Chmerkovskiy held his ground on a subsequent interview with Good Morning America, refusing to apologize to Goodman.
Solo performed two dances on Monday's episode -- a 27-point quickstep followed by a 25-point jive Goodman called fantastic.
“It was everything a jive should be! It was brilliant!” Goodman said, prompting Chmerkovskiy to walk up to the panel and give him a smooch on the cheek. He and Solo scored a solid 52 overall points on the evening.
“Thank you Len!” Chmerkovskiy said during the post-dance Q&A.
