At Sunday's 2011 BET Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, there was no doubt the night’s big winner, Chris Brown, had turned around his career in grand fashion.
The 21-year-old Forever singer performed twice and collected four awards: best male R&B artist, the Fandemonium award, the best collaboration award, and the Viewers' Choice award.
"I appreciate all the support," Brown, whose career was in doubt after he infamously beat his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, told the audience. “I know it's been a long road, so I appreciate every blessing in front of me."
