VIDEO: Lamar Odom 'Embarrassed' After Dad Met Wife Khloe Kardashian

When Khloe Kardashian's father-in-law showed up unannounced at her book signing, she handled it like a seasoned pro.

But, her husband Lamar Odom struggled with the meeting, as he revealed in the premiere episode of the couple's new E! reality show.

Now, in a sneak peek of this Sunday's Khloe and Lamar, the basketball star talked with one of his friends about his father Joe's surprise meeting with 26-year-old Khloe.

"Joe popped up on Khloe," Odom, 31, said.

"Besides being embarrassed, it makes me a little uneasy."

Lakers' star Lamar has been estranged from his father for years, but financially supports him, including paying his rent.

"I'm not asking him to be my father," Odom said, adding: "I'm asking him to act like you're my father. "

He described the problems his father, a heroin addict, once faced.

"Joe had demons, battles he had to overcome," he said.

"He lost time. There are some people who lay down to take a nap at 2 they wake up at 5 in the afternoon.

"When Joe woke up 15, 16, 17 years had passed and I was already a grown man."
