VIDEO: Casey Abrams: American Idol's Susan Boyle?
Feb. 3 2011, Published 7:50 a.m. ET
On Wednesday's edition of American Idol, judges Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez assessed the talent deep in the heart of Austin, Texas, where the show may have found its' next breakout singer in Casey Abrams.
Abrams -- a doughy, bearded 19-year-old Seth Rogen look-a-like -- pulled off a Susan Boyle-esque surprise: Shown in the video clips as a long shot oddball, Abrams turned heads when he belted out a strong, bluesy rendition of Ray Charles’ I Don’t Need No Doctor.
