VIDEO: Jennifer Grey Gets Season's First Perfect Score On Dancing With The Stars

Jennifer Grey continued her storybook run on Dancing With The Stars Monday, turning in a pair of stellar performances, showing off amazing form and racking up the season’s first perfect score, en route to a tie for top spot on the night.

In addition to their regular ballroom dance, the five remaining couples also had to participate in an an instant dance, in which they would only be told the dance style, and not the song.
Grey, who's been hobbled by tendonitis in her left knee, braved through the pain to deliver a quickstep so smooth and graceful, judge Bruno Tonioli told her, "It was like watching a vintage Ginger Rogers, Fred Astaire quick-step.
"You're capable of brilliance," Tonioli said. "Forget your troubles, come on get happy!"
But the 50-year-old Dirty Dancing star was just getting started: Her rumba, set to Foreigner's Waiting for a Girl Like You, included a magnificent show of flexibility, agility and perseverance in placing her leg on partner Derek Hough's shoulder, all of which added up to the first perfect score of the season (30/30).

"You captured the moment... there is nothing more beautiful for me than watching someone reclaiming their power," judge Carrie Ann Inaba told her, while judge Len Goodman proclaimed, "What I love about dancing is the variations -- that's what makes great dancing, and that's what we've just seen."
Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy kept pace with Grey, also racking up 57 points on the night. Rounding out the pack were Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer with 56/60; Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya with 48/60; and Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas were in last place with 47/60.
Dancing With The Stars' eleventh season continues with the results show on ABC Tuesday at 9/8c.
