The 41-year-old comic was voted off Dancing With The Stars Tuesday night, after her 18-point samba in a rainbow-patterned dress Monday failed to earn her enough votes from the viewers or judges to remain on ABC’s ballroom hit.

"And I thank you for that,” she said. “I will take that with me forever... thank you for the opportunity to let me dance -- I'm going to keep dancing."

The dance was a tribute to gay pride after a recent spike of gay teen suicides, such as Tyler Clementi, the 18-year-old Rutgers freshman who killed himself after classmates outed him.

Dancing With The Stars' eleventh season continues on ABC next Monday at 8/7c.
