Bristol Palin received low ratings on Dancing With The Stars' TV night, as her jive set to The Monkees theme song garnered the night's worst score (18 points), despite one of the more creative (and hairy) routines we've seen on the hit ABC ballroom competition this season.

Palin and pro partner Mark Ballas began their dance clad in full monkey outfits, with Bristol's wearing a pink tutu. As the song kicked in, the two shed the outfits, looking much more evolved.

Following the dance, Len Goodman told Palin, “I would have liked you to have kept the suits on a bit longer!"

Bruno Tonioli told the 19-year-old Alaskan that her awkwardness was noticeable throughout her routine, while Carrie Ann Inaba said that the mid-song costume change was a huge distraction, evident by Bristol’s sub-par performance.

"You forgot a lot of the dance moves!" Inaba reminded the teen celibacy advocate.

Pop superstar Shakira is slated to perform when Dancing With The Stars' eleventh season continues with the results show on ABC Tuesday at 9/8c.
