The 57-year-old crooner was eliminated on Tuesday's episode of Dancing With The Stars, after his canine-inspired interpretation of Elvis Presley's Hound Dog Monday earned him only 12 points and a memorable tongue-lashing from judge Bruno Tonioli.
The soft rock singer was lined alongside Jersey Shore’s Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino in the bottom two, when he was voted off for what Tonioli dubbed "the worst jive in 11 seasons."
While we expected Bolton to speak to reporters and appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! following the show, he bolted without doing either to leave for a gig in Napa Valley.
The mood was down backstage as Bolton's fellow contestants said they'd miss the singer's presence on the set, where he struck his colleagues as an all-around good guy.

Former Super Bowl MVP Kurt Warner said Bolton clearly tried his best, though the embarrassing chiding from Tonioli may have dampened his spirit after Monday's show.
"We got along fabulously," Bolton's partner Chelsie Hightower told RadarOnline.com in a solo interview following the show. "And its sad it had to end the way it did.”
Dancing With The Stars' eleventh season continues on ABC Monday at 8/7c.
