Mel Gibson might be embroiled in a nasty dispute with his ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Russian beauty, Oksana Grigorieva, but he intends to honor his legal obligations concerning his infant daughter, Lucia.

Gibson's attorney Stephen Kolodny told RadarOnline.com on Tuesday: "Yes, (he will continue to honor his legal obligation and pay child support.)"

Gibson and Grigorieva are scheduled to square off in court on July 20, 2010 for the restraining order that she took out against the Braveheart star.

Kolodny also went on to tell us, "(it's) time to stop litigating in the press."

As RadarOnline.com first revealed, Gibson will be in court on July 20 to discuss the welfare of eight-month-old Lucia in front of a family judge. It is unknown whether Oksana will attend.

Sources close to the actor tell us, despite reports, Mel has continued to pay child support to Oksana, even though she refused to let him see his daughter on Father’s Day, which violated a written agreement between the former couple.

EXCLUSIVE: Oksana Has Secret Evidence Against Mel Gibson

The rocky relationship between Gibson and Grigorieva has been filled with more drama than one of the Lethal Weapon star’s blockbusters since they went public in April 2009, the same month that Mel filed for divorce from Robyn Moore, his wife of 30 years and mother of his seven other children. Oksana and Mel split almost a year later.
