EXCLUSIVE: Expect Hook-Ups On 'Bachelor Pad'
“When the producer knocked on my door at 6:00am in the morning and said, ‘We have bad news for you.’
“I kind of looked down and was like ‘are you serious?’ ...Never in my last thought, they would be telling me I was going home.”
EXCLUSIVE: The Secret Audition Process For The Bachelorette
Mathue had gone through the shows rigorous screening process of blood tests, urine tests, background checks and was even sequestered in a hotel room for three days awaiting the first day of the new show, only to be told he was cut while leaving for the mansion.
“I kind of felt like a failure, but it wasn’t my fault,” Mathue told RadarOnline.com.
“I understand that The Bachelorette show, The Bachelor show and The Bachelor Pad show are all about drama and creating ratings. I’m a drama free guy and I don’t know if that had something to do with it.”
Mathue has traveled with most of the Bachelor/Bachelorette cast members on Jesse Csincsak’s infamous castoff vacations and has exclusively revealed some of the reality stars’ intimate relationship secrets.
EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: I Am Bachelorette Finalist’s Secret Girlfriend
“I know Elizabeth Kitt and Jesse Kovacs had a fling going on before the show. They met in Breckenridge on our little ski trip together and they kind of had a thing going on so they might get back together... I know Kiptyn and Tenley Molzahn have been seen together in Orange County a couple of times but not for sure if they are dating or not.
“I heard through the grapevine that Kiptyn and Gia had been seen together before too... on the cruise and stuff Juan and Nikki were getting in a fight kind of a little love triangle with Juan and Nikki and a girl named Emily.”
Mathue also told RadarOnline.com that he was sure one member of the new cast wasn’t in it for love.
“I know that Natalie Getz is definitely not looking for a man, she’s definitely in it for the money. So go Natalie! Go girl.”
The 27-year-old reality star gave us his take on what we have to look forward to on the upcoming Bachelor spin off.
“I know Dave is a go getter, he’s going to have some fun on the show,” he said.
“Juan...he is more of a friend to the girls. So, I don’t know if he is going to get booted really early because the girls are just really friendly with him. This season they chose the weatherman and Craig who were neck to neck the whole time they were on the show. And on my season Juan and Dave who were at each others necks.”
Mathue seems to have moved passed his reality show rejection experience.
“We are all just friends I am pretty anxious to see how the show is going to work,” he added. “If they asked me to do it again I would definitely have to think about it because of the way I was treated, but if the timing was right and it felt right then I would definitely do it again.
“I’m always open to something new. For sure and we’ll see what comes my way.”
