After a brain hemorrhage last month and a mini-stroke last week, Celebrity Apprentice winner Bret Michaels admitted on The Today Show Monday he defied doctor's orders to appear on the show's live finale Sunday, and RadarOnline.com has the video for you.
"The doctor said it’s not very smart to be here, but I'm not a very smart guy in that capacity," said Michaels, who was admitted into the hospital April 21 following his near-fatal hemorrhage and discharged after nearly two weeks in the hospital. The Unskinny Bop singer said he was told to rest for six weeks before getting back to work.

Michaels said that while his doctor warned him his appearance on the show was "a risk," he joked "its been a risk for him to get out of a chair lately.
"I'm so happy to have been there and I set my goal on it," Michaels said, adding that he's very driven, loves life and is just one of those people that sets out to achieve goals.
The 47-year-old Poison singer said he went into the show 100 percent dedicated to it, and did not think he would be back on following the hemorrhage. Michaels credited overcoming his latest rash of maladies to "great medical attention" and inspiration from his daughters.
