Recently-eliminated American Idol hopeful Siobhan Magnus appeared on The Today Show Tuesday talking about her past, her popular wail and what she's hoping to do next.

Magnus, 20, said she's been singing since being placed in the school chorus in the fourth grade. She said from there, she performed her first solo -- The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow" -- and she's had the itch for singing ever since.

VIDEO: Siobhan Magnus Voted Off Idol
Magnus said that she's always had the trademark wail that endeared her to American Idol fans, and that she perfected it while singing "in the shower."
When asked what kind of album she hopes to record, Magnus said, "Hopefully, when I record an album, it'll be some crazy hybrid-fusion of everything that I love, because I can't put myself in a box."
