Ex-Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich is now an ex-Celebrity Apprentice contestant as well, as the charming-yet-flawed politician, in his own words, "got the boot" from Donald Trump on Sunday night's edition of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice.

Blagojevich embarrassed himself last week when he showed he didn't know how to type, turn on a computer or send a text message. He followed up with a performance Sunday, during which, as project manager  for the task, he showed an utter lack of leadership -- and loyalty, as he was repeatedly seen putting the blame on his colleagues for his group's collective failures. In the boardroom at the climax of the episode, even Trump acknowledged that Blagojevich tried to throw his fellow teammates celebrity chef Curtis Stone and Olympic great Michael Johnson “under the bus.” But in the end, it was Blagojevich himself who got the axe.

The current cycle of competition includes rock wife Sharon Osbourne, 80s pop icon singer Cyndi Lauper, actress Holly Robinson Peete, Poison rocker Bret Michaels and former WCW champ Bill Goldberg, among others.
