Ex-Ill Gov. Rod Blagojevich wants you to know he's no flimflam man.

Blagojevich, who recently got the boot on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice, appeared on Lopez Tonight Tuesday and addressed the accusations he was scheming to sell or trade President Barack Obama's U.S. Senate seat after the November 2008 election.

Blagojevich entered the show to a rousing ovation from the studio audience (which struck us as bizarre, considering the guy's awaiting trial on charges of political corruption).

"How do you say in Spanish, 'I didn't do those things?'" Blagojevich told George Lopez. "They are lying about me, it is one of the biggest lies ever told. Winston Churchill once said, 'A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to put its' pants on.'"

Blagojevich challenged authorities who have recordings of him to play the recordings, which he said will prove his innocence.

Lopez Tonight airs on TBS weeknights at 11/10c.
