MTV And Lauren Conrad Stand Behind Accused Hills Producer

The Hills star Lauren Conrad and her bosses at MTV have jumped to defend producer and show creator Adam Divello amid allegations that he was sexually inappropriate with plastic surgery enhanced pin-up Heidi Montag, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
After six seasons tensions are running high on the reality series which begins the final 12 episodes on April 27, 2010.

Spencer Pratt was recently suspended from the show after reportedly getting into an altercation with an un-named producer and a now reportedly sources close to his wife have been leaking stories about Divello allegedly acting inappropriately towards her and being romantically involved with her co-star Conrad too.

MTV told RadarOnline.com: “We have looked into this matter and the allegations made against Adam DiVello are completely false and without merit.
“Adam not only created The Hills and The City launching the careers of several cast members, but has worked diligently to maintain a respectful and appropriate production environment.”
RadarOnline.com has learned that there are splits among the cast and crew with some having sympathy for Montag and Pratt while others are furious that Divello’s name is being smirched.
But one person who is most definitely in the ‘Team Divello’ is Lauren Conrad who is furious about rumors linking her with the show’s creator.

She said: “Similar to most of my fellow MTV cast mates, I am in utter shock at the allegations made against Adam Divello.
“Not only are they completely absurd but they are100 per cent without merit – Adam is a true professional and a wonderful person to work for.”
In a recent interview Divello conceded that The Hills had run its course and that it was time to bring the show to a close.
He said: “I think we’ve told the story of struggle and finding yourself in LA – a lot of these kids have found themselves and have certainly embarked on different careers and different paths.”
Montag – who shockingly underwent 10 plastic surgeries in one day – recently revealed in Las Vegas that she wants to become an action hero on the big screen, like Angelina Jolie, once The Hills finishes.

There have been rumors that her marriage to Spencer Pratt is on the rocks and she also recently confessed to Ryan Seacrest that the ‘publicity hungry pair’ was considering leaving Hollywood to go and live in South America.
