In the court records, the Duggard’s new lawyer also exercised their rights under Marsy's Law, a legal bill enforced to provide all victims with rights and due process.

Duggard is seeking a protective order from the court "to prohibit disclosure of any and all information, documentation and other materials which is confidential and otherwise pertains to them."

It would allow them not to disclose confidential information to the defense or anyone working on their behalf.
