The show’s executive producer is also excited to have the 19-year-old guest star on the teen drama.
“Bristol Palin is the most famous teenage mother in America,” Brenda Hampton said. “We’re thrilled to have her join us, and I think she will bring additional attention to the issues facing teen parents that we’ve been exploring for a couple of seasons now.”
Bristol’s episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager will air sometime this summer when the series returns for its third season on ABC Family.
Ironically, Bristol will be heading back to court in Alaska on Thursday for a hearing to calculate how much child support her former boyfriend Levi Johnston should pay for their 3-month-old son Tripp.
