EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEW: It Will Take Three Years To Treat Tiger Woods, Says Dr. Drew
Dr. Drew sat down with RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview and spoke candidly about his nine troubled patients on season three.
"This is a pretty rough group," he said.
Dr.Drew expressed his concerns with Dennis Rodman, one of the "Bad Boy's of the NBA" who was ordered by the court to either go to rehab or jail.
"He stayed all the way through sober house, but I had no illusions that he was going to thoroughly embrace sobriety," Drew said about the former baller. "He was completely unwilling to participate in any way."
Mackenzie Phillips made headlines last year when she revealed that she had been in a sexual relationship with her father, John Phillips, of The Mamas and the Papas. "She did fantastic in treatment," said Dr. Drew. "She does so well the other patients become abusive to her as though she's some sort of teacher's pet."
Former madam Heidi Fleiss and her ex-boyfriend Tom Sizemore are also on the show. Dr. Drew said "Tom and Heidi did rather well." Drew says Heidi "has a very institutional way of thinking about things" and that Tom is "one of the greatest guys and most severe addict I know."
The cast also includes sex tape participant Kari Ann Peniche, country music singer Mindy McCready as well as three other celebrities who openly share their rehab experiences on the show.
You can catch Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab on VH1 Thursdays, 10pm EST/PST.
