EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEW: Bethenny Frankel Says NY Housewives Show "Completely Toxic and Completely Psychotic"

If you're looking for drama on TV you never have to look any futher than The Real Housewives franchise. Bethenny Frankel, star of the New York show and author of the new best seller The Skinnygirl Dish: Easy Recipes for Your Naturally Thin Life, exclusively told RadarOnline.com that the show is "completely toxic, completely psychotic and completely drama filled."

Bethenny also revealed that she's "kind of outgrown," the show that focuses on bitchy back stabbing antics of a group of women over 40.

Real Housewife of New York Bethenny Frankel Is Pregnant

"I don't bite the hand that feeds me," Bethenny said of the show and network that helped promote her career, but she said filming the upcoming season was "one of the most difficult things I've ever done."

Bethenny is engaged to Jason Hoppy and is expecting her first baby in June. "It wasn't easy for me to handle this year," she said about filming the show while pregnant.

She is tourning the country for her book tour and had sharp words for her co-stars motivations on the show. "They should not be on television just to get manicures and diamonds."

The Skinnygirl Dish "unleashes your skinny chef," Bethenny said of her new book.  With more than 60 recipes that can be renovated to make over 1,000 delicious dishes Bethenny said she takes "fattening recipes like chicken wings or guacamole or spinach artichoke dip and I make them skinny."

Her healthy food is tasty food too. "Nothing tastes like cardboard," Bethenny assured readers. "It's low fat, has a lot of flavor and is delicious."

Bethenny is signing her new book at Barnes & Noble at The Grove Los Angeles at 7pm on Friday, January 29, Barnes & Noble at Boston University Bookstore at 7pm on Wednesday, February 3, Borders Books & Music in Oak Park, Illinois at 2pm on Saturday, February 13, and at Barnes & Noble at University Commons Shopping Center in Boca Raton, Florida at 2pm on Saturday, February 27.

Even though she may not miss the Real Housewives since she has her own show now, Bethenny promised that the upcoming season is "the best season ever!"
