The holiday season is in full swing, but not everybody in Orange County is as merry as they’d like to be. “This has been the worst year of my life,” Frank Curtin, the husband of the OC Real Housewife Lynne, told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview. Frank and his wife Lynne failed to appear in an Orange County courthouse Tuesday for a $1.2 million judgment they were ordered to pay to a former business partner.

Why did Frank miss his court date? “I just sort of forgot to go because of the Christmas season,” he told us and is planning to set a new appointment on Wednesday.
Some reports said Tuesday that there was a warrant out for the arrest of Lynne and Frank, but this isn’t quite the case. “A bench warrant was issued on December 21st,” a court source tells RadarOnline.com. “But it’s on hold until January 27th. As long as they show up at court by that date there will be no live warrant for them. If they don’t show by then then the warrant will be active and they will be arrested.”

Well that’s one worry off their minds and they could do with some good news, because despite the show that his wife stars on, things haven’t been going well for the carpenter. “My business all went south and I have been trying to work my way out of it. In the last 4 years I have lost everything, and I went through some really hard times.”

Frank defended his wife Lynne, and told RadarOnline.com that she had nothing to do with the lawsuit and was simply named on some of the paperwork.
He admits that he’s “had problems in the past,” and has been struggling ever since but hopes the economy will turn around.
“I don’t want her to get hurt,” Frank said about Lynne, “I feel bad for her.”
Besides starring on the drama filled reality series, Lynne is trying to launch her jewelry line Lynne Curtin Designs.
Frank might have finally realized the price of fame. “This has been the worst year of my life. And now I am in the public eye from a TV show...what have I gotten myself into?”
