Daryl Hannah's Liebrary Looking To Make Splash Under Your Christmas Tree

Liebrary is an innovative new board game by Discovery Bay Games, which RadarOnline.com has made our anchor selection for your board gaming needs this holiday season.
The game is designed by actresses Daryl Hannah and Hilary Shepard; it accommodates anywhere from three to six players, ages 12 and up. In it, players are given the title and a synopsis of a real book, at which point they write what they think would be a good first line, and earn points for each opponent they can bluff out other players with.
"We just like playing games," Hannah told the Chicago Tribune. "Whenever we're like, 'We wish this game existed,' we just end up making it.
"Now with the economy being the way it is, game nights are real popular again," Hannah told the paper. "People are coming back to what really matters in life -- relating to family and friends."
“Liebrary was inspired by an old parlor game that requires a huge library of books in order to play,” said Daryl Hannah. “Hilary and I wanted to create something that was easily accessible and could travel well on vacation.”
The game, which sells for $34.95, is available at Barnes & Noble locations as well as its Web site, www.bn.com.
