More than twenty years ago, Fox debuted a bizarre-looking cartoon family in a series of short skits on its cult hit variety program, The Tracey Ullman Show. Flash forward to 2009, and while Tracey's show has been canceled for decades, you might notice that bizarre-looking cartoon family -- you might know them as The Simpsons -- are amongst the most recognizable characters in the world.

From Monday, Nov. 9 until Friday, Nov. 13, the network will pay "homarge" to the iconic family with a scavenger hunt contest in which Fox will blast to the past, and bring back the Simpsons from where they started: on the network's other programs. During the week, the network, in its prime-time hours, will broadcast shout-outs, tributes, clues and on-air promos related to the first family of Springfield.

Viewers then must log onto www.fox.com/scavengerhunt to take quizzes related to that night's Simpson's references, which gains them entry into the contest. The ultimate grand prize includes a trip for two to Los Angeles to attend a Simpson read with the cast, a home entertainment system, a collection of Simpsons DVDs and tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood.
