EXCLUSIVE: Court Rules TLC Can Depose Kate Major

A judge has ruled that TLC can depose Jon Gosselin’s ex fling Kate Major, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
Williams & Connolly, the law firm representing TLC, filed a motion requesting to serve her with a subpoena in order to take her deposition.
Court papers obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com show that the judge granted the motion.

Kate quit her job as a reporter at Star magazine while having a romantic relationship with Jon, who has since denied that they were romantically involved. That denial incensed Kate and sources tell RadarOnline.com that she is very much looking forward to testifying against Jon in the breach of contract lawsuit. Kate has given several interviews since her breakup with the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star and she has repeatedly blasted him.

Meanwhile, as RadarOnline.com reported exclusively on Monday, Jon is preparing to countersue TLC. He will allege that the network’s contract is overly restrictive and prevents him from earning a living.

In a previous court filing TLC noted that Jon is free to go back to his Information Technologies job to earn a living.
Major is a resident of the state of Illinois according to the new papers obtained by RadarOnline.com.
So far TLC has received court permission to depose Major, Jon’s bodyguard Thomas Meinelt, Mike Heller, Mark Heller, Hailey Glassman, Matthew Kirschner and Michael Lohan.
