Delay Retiring From DWTS

Tom Delay is hanging up his dance shoes and retiring from Dancing With The Stars.


The former Republican House Majority Leader will withdraw from the competition on Tuesday night's live results show due to stress fractures in both of his feet.

He was advised by doctors not to perform on Monday night, where he danced the samba with partner Cheryl Burke, but went ahead anyway - saying on air, "What's a little pain when we can party?"

It seems the little pain has become some rather large pain though forcing him to leave the show prematurely.

Delay finished in the bottom two on Monday night's show, scoring just 15 points for his interpretation of War's Why Can't We Be Friends.

DWTS airs Monday at 8/7c and Tuesday at 9/8c on ABC.
