Less than a month after he was arrested during a sting operation at a massage parlor in Utah, James Jeffrey Archuleta -- the father of American Idol runner-up David -- filed for divorce from his wife of over twenty years Lupe Marie. RadarOnline.com has all of the details, including the legal papers.
The couple had previously filed for divorce in 2002 but reconciled soon after David placed first in the Star Search competition. Citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, the couple will share joint physical custody of their three minor children (they have five children in all). Lupe will have one night less of custody than James Jeffrey per year.

On January 14, James Jeffrey was caught up in a police raid and later cited with a Class B misdemeanor for soliciting a prostitute. His attorney claimed that no sexual contact occurred and that he was simply there for a back problem. However, Detective Sgt. John Salazar of the Midvale Police Department told RadarOnline.com at the time that during questioning James Jeffrey admitted to receiving sexual services.
