Phillip Garrido's Bail Set at $30 million

Jaycee Lee Dugard's alleged kidnapper and rapist was in court Monday in Placerville California where he pleaded not guilty to charges associated with the 1991 abduction of 11 year old Dugard.

El Dorado Superior Court Judge Douglas Phimister set bail at $30 million, no bail was set for Mrs. Garrido, who was also present and who continues to be held in custody.

The couple face a total of 29 charges including kidnapping, rape and false imprisonment.

Both Garridos appeared solemn during the 10-minute hearing, during which Phillip Garrido's attorney requested a psychiatric evaluation for her client.

Phillip Garrido was wearing a bandage on his nose covering a clump of moles on the bridge which a source says looks like skin cancer.

Both Phillip and Nancy Garrido are due back in court for an October 29th hearing.
