Grab The Mike: Glee, MySpace Sponsoring Karaoke Contest

Fox and MySpace want you to sing with glee: The Glee MySpace Karaoke Contest aims to have fans emulating the show's Rachel Berry, recording and posting their own interpretations of popular songs such as Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab” and Kanye West’s “Gold Digger.”

The grand prize winner will receive a a trip to Hollywood to visit the set of Glee; runners-up will win iTunes gift cards. And for every entrant, Fox will pony up a buck towards GRAMMY in the Schools, a program that music education to high school students nationwide. Entrants must be 14 or older to enter, and the contest ends Wednesday, Sept. 23. For more details, visit http://ksolo.myspace.com/.

Glee details the story of a passionate high school music teacher (Matthew Morrison) who tries to salvage the school's waning glee club program with a Bad News Bears-esque array of talents to choose from. The show airs Wednesdays on Fox at 9 p.m. ET/PT; a special encore of the show's episode will air Friday, Sept. 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
