The kids didn't even have their (previously) faithful dogs to play with.

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Jon gave the German Shepherds back to their breeder claiming Kate refused to care for them!

Now we're not saying Jon doesn't love his kids but it does seem increasingly difficult to find him except when there are fans waiting for his autograph.

Kate's turn-at-bat in their parenting rotation starts again Monday.
