Kate Gosselin may have had good reason to call the cops the night Jon wouldn't let her onto their property to see their eight kids. In the weeks leading up to that event, Kate was growing increasingly distrustful of how much time he was actually spending at the house during his allotted time with the children.

"It was when Kate was still away...I believe with the boys, and Jon had just the girls," Marci Santoro told RadarOnline.com exclusively. "Kate called and asked them where their dad was. And apparently he wasn't there at the time. He was in New York doing an interview. And Kate wasn't aware that he wasn't going to be there with the children. Kate was upset about that. Stephanie called Jon and he told her, 'don't leave, make sure you stay there, and I'll take care of Kate."

"I want the story out there," Marci said. "Hopefully the next woman he Jon does the same thing with will say 'hey, Kate Major said all these things, Stephanie Santoro had all these things to say...maybe we should beware of Jon. This has ripped apart Stephanie's life. She is an innocent victim in all of this."
